Great maneuver! I am glad to see Gabriel Medina being able to handle no only beach breaks but heavier and hollow waves as he showed it in 2012. Whether he has the potential to be a world champion, no doubt, but I would say the same about John Florence, Calohe Andino and other kids of about the same age. There is a long way ahead and a lot of hard work and discipline before he gets to the top.

Alguém (talvez o Charles…) deve falar para o Medina que se quiser ser campeão mundial, deve SURFAR para direita também. E surfar no sentido AMPLO da palavra e não apenas ganhar baterias com aerial em esquerdas. Depois os gringos colam um apelido como ONE TRICK PONY, e a gente fica brabo. Mas se continuar assim, serei obrigado a concordar. ACORDA MEDINA E VAMOS SURFAR DE VERDADE… Será que só o Medina não viu as direitas ou ele acredito que pode ganhar em Snnapers Rock, Jeffreys Bay e Bells com aerial para a esquerda??

No doubt this guy is a great surfer but this video is getting way too much hype. This was done ages ago by one flynn novak and one ricky basnett – i suppose anything can be hyped with the right sponsors.
