As much as I dislike Nike as a company, I have to say that what they’ve done here is pretty amazing. The female surfers they’ve enlisted on their team are pretty amazing, especially Carissa Moore.
In a time when women’s surfing seems to be suffering from lack of sponsors, a short tour, etc. we see the advent of some of the most powerful female shredders. I want to see sponsors spend money on female surfers who will change the face of surfing through their talent and not their ability to wear a thong alone. These women deserve respect for their skill and dedication, and not just a crowd of oglers.
I would love to see Nike create a prime event that is co-ed, because I know these women can compete with the men.

Wow womens surfing sure has improved and carissa is leading the charge. Great to see these girls ripping but would be nice to get to know these girls a bit more. Looks like another surf porn film with quick cuts and mindless editing. They traveled all over the world but you would never know by the wy this film is edited and put together. I see carissa dominating the womens tour for a LONG time as she has the BEST style of them all. Way to go girls….
