Love Dane, guy rips, but as james b said, nothing too amazing. Aside from that, is it shitting anyone else that he keeps his spot on tour with an injury wildcard, but has had so many clips coming out recently despite said “injury”? It all says to me that he isn’t injured enough, cause he’s still ripping. I reckon he just wanted time out and is abusing the injury rules to keep his spot open. If it was anyone else but Dane, it wouldn’t be ok.

Who cares? No work ethic, Urban Outfitter rip off hipster towels and lame t-shirts a now shitty boards. He’ll look back and regret it. You’re only young and talented for so long.

WHERE CAN I GET ONE OF THESE BOARDS, IM PREPARED TO DO VERY UNFORGIVABLE DEEDS TO GET ONE!

The shape’s a bit wonky looking, but it’s actually quite fun. I wouldn’t look at it as your primary surfboard, but something to make the typical southern California surf enjoyable (waist-head+ high).

Surf Ride has ‘em in stock:

After viewing the Dane Reynolds video, I bought the sperm whale in mid-May. It took me approximately 5-6 weeks to really dial it in. I have to firmly disagree with the Channel Islands spokesman (on Youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SOClCB5zmmU ) who stated, “It’s not really a performance board, but I wouldn’t say it’s a groveler.” If you spend some time on it you would feel very differently. It has multiple sweet spots; opening up possibilities that are otherwise unavailable on a standard shortboard. If the spokesman had actually ridden the board and put his back foot on the very back of the surfboard tail when bottom turning, he would probably retract his statement. Perhaps clarifying what “high performance” actually means would help too.
