A Freesurf Contest, An Oxymoron
Put Up or Shut Up was a recent surf contest in Bali. Except it’s not a contest. But it is. “No point system, no judges…the champion of this free-form event would be decided by one experienced observer.” Chris Ward was in it. They scored.

In Other Bizarre Sea Creature News
This lady was arrested for “surfing a manatee.” According to NBC News, “Witnesses gave authorities her description and photos of her riding the sea cow, which is a second-degree misdemeanor.” She turned herself in. May this be a lesson to us all.

Surfing? Questionable.
