Behind the Numbers:Troy dropped from 23Rrd to 35th on the WCT rankings last year, after finishing 23rd in his rookie season. He had two ninth-place finishes on the WCT in ’06.

Heading into 2007: Momentum turned a bit negative for Brooks midway through last season, so he’s got a bit of a hole to climb out of. That said, the supercharged regularfooter has a healthy repertoire of moves to rely on and an aggressive attack to boot. At times, however, he can appear a little overcooked, with a bit too much body movement. He will be flirting with the bubble again next year, but should do fine on the WQS.
