San Clemente Celebrates

| posted on December 14, 2009

On Saturday night San Clemente celebrated the successes of its surfers at the OC Tavern. The city had good reason to celebrate since, in the space of a few short weeks, Nate Yeomans and Tanner and Pat Gudauskas qualified for the 2010 World Tour and “Lord” Greg Long conquered a field of the best big wave surfers in the world to win the Quiksilver in Memory of Eddie Aikau at enormous Waimea Bay.

In typical SC style, it was a raucous affair, summed up best by these blurry, drunk photos.

The only person not in this photo is Tanner Gudauskas, who apparently got the suspenders he was wearing hooked on something at the bar.
