Cyrus Sutton’s Newest Film Stoked & Broke Debuts This Saturday in Long Beach

Battle of the Blogs winner and founder, Cyrus Sutton’s newest film project, Stoked and Broke, will be making its highly anticipated world premiere this Saturday at the Arthouse Cinema in Long Beach, CA. Kicking off the night will be a pre-party at Shelter Surf Shop located directly across the street from the Arthouse Cinema.

Stoked and Broke follows Cyrus and friend Ryan Burch as they reinvent what a modern day surf safari can be—an eight-day, 30-mile walk and roll through San Diego County. Their goal: to surf some of the best waves the California coast has to offer, while living off the bare minimum.

“We took this trip to show you don’t have to spend thousands of dollars to have fun,” says Cyrus. “It made realize there’s plenty of great surf and adventure to be had in all of our backyards. We just have to open our minds.”

Along with the film premiere, there will be a short film festival, tarp-surfing demo, live music, plus prizes and free snacks. For more information on the premiere click here.
