Once you get to the North Shore it’s pretty hard to leave. Unless you’ve got a good reason, there’s little incentive to flee the seven-mile miracle that drew you here in the first place. Last night, however, we had a good reason: Quiksilver was offering free food and music  at their Honolulu store in Eddie Aikau’s honor. Not a bad way to cap the week…especially after a fun surf at Gas Chambers while the swell had less-than-fatal potential.
