Women's World Tour Heads Back to Australia for the Beachley Classic

What: Commonwealth Bank Beachley Classic
When: April 21-26
Where: Dee Why, Northern Beaches, New South Wales, Australia
The Prize Purse: $110,000 ($10K more than the rest of the Tour events)
After the World Champ’s back-to-back victories at the first two events of the 2010 Tour season, it seemed we were witnessing the Steph Gilmore Show for the fourth year running. But after her early-round loss at event No. 3 in Taranaki, the title-race is on once again.
Three things to keep in mind as the event gets underway 1) The event has had multiple wildcard winners which will keep things interesting; 2) In the past, the surf for this event has traditionally been small, favoring the smaller surfers; and 3) Steph Gilmore, a past event champion, is as hungry as ever to get back on top.
