Big Issue Release Party
In honor of the release of the year’s biggest issue, SURFER staff, friends, and fans invaded the dimly lit sushi hotspot Zenbu in Cardiff to celebrate. For us staffers, The Big Issue is not only the most unique and revered issue of the year, but also the most work. But what better way to blow of the steam from the long hours spent putting together this oversized edition than to throw a party, drink some sake, and revel with friends. If you weren’t able to make it to the party, you can still pick up a copy on newsstands until the end of July.

humm…
This really doesn’t look like “a big party”!
I’ve made big, BIG! parties and this is more like a cooling off gathering much deserved by a crew that puts on stand the most eagered surf issue in the planet.
Sorry mate if you’re not getting the dollars, but the people from the staff still earned the right to decompress from piling up the biggest surf mag ever.
Keep it up Surfer Mag !!!

Great, so the magazine will throw a big party for a new issue that they pay the contributing photographers pennies for. Maybe stop hosting all these parties for a new issue and pay a photographer more money. Then maybe your magazine will look better!!
