The Ego Booster was inspired by Ryan Rawson at his home break at Newport and is the perfect step down board from a normal high-performance thruster. If you're not interested in riding standard fish designs in small-wave conditions, then this model is for you.

This model is a design originally spawned on the North Shore, and intended for traveling surfers everywhere. Whether you're riding Backdoor, Teahupoo, the Mentawais, or Desert Point, this model is designed to be the most reliable board in your quiver. I probably shape more boards of this model for visiting pros coming to the North Shore, than any other design I build.

The Matador SK8 caters to the needs of the heavier or more mature surfer. Increased widths from 19 1/2" to 22 1/2" wide, combined with increased thickness in the chest area give the rider the added edge in paddling, stability, and "easy takeoff" situations. Rockers range from curvier for good surf conditions in the Matador Classic Model to flatter in the center section for extra drive and "Paddle Power" featured in my Matador SK8.
