When the waves are too junky for your regular board STEPdown an inch or two, generally 1/4" to 1/2" wider & maybe just a touch thicker. Based on the CN curve but has a lower faster entry and more relaxed tail curve. The A2 curve has a medium entry rocker that flows into a straighter mid-section to create natural speed with increased lift in the tail rocker enabling nice, tight pocket turns and drives the board anywhere on the wave at anytime. Low boxy rails with a rolled deck make the board extremely responsive while the single concave increases lift, liveliness and speed.
