Nathan Hedge Supertubes

| posted on May 13, 2011

“I was looking through some old disks and came across this shot of Nathan Hedge surfing Supers in 2001,” says Photo Editor Grant Ellis. “This was shot on a Kodak Canon DCS 520 which was the first digital camera for action photography. It cost about $7,500 back then even though the image quality was only 2.0 megapixels. Today it’s worth about $400 and your iPhone can take better quality images.” Photo: Ellis
