Todos Santos Big Wave Event Announces The Keep A Breast Foundation as Official Charitable Partner.
Contest Director Gary Linden is proud to announce the partnership of non-profit organization, The Keep A Breast Foundation with the Todos Santos Big Wave Event. In order to support KAB, the Todos Santos Big Wave Event will donate the competition jersey of the event’s winner for auction by KAB with a cast of the winner’s bust (upon winner’s approval). In addition, a series of big wave riders’ casts will be made, starting with Gary Linden. Famous surf artist, and fellow big wave charger, Drew Brophy will paint Gary’s cast. The casts will be put on display during the event with a selection of casts from the “Save our Sisters” (surfers’ casts painted by surfers) collection.
“I love boobies!” declared a smiling Gary Linden. “Keep A Breast is an amazing foundation. We are excited to help KAB raise money and awareness for breast cancer prevention.” Gary Linden more seriously added, “Due to the uniqueness of our event and its historical importance, we are confident the winning jersey will attract high bidders along with raising attention for KAB.”
“Keep A Breast is truly honored to be chosen as the official charitable partner for the Todos event. Our connection to the ocean and the earth, directly relates to our connection with our own health. Partnering with surfers all over the world helps KAB spread its message about breast cancer prevention and the importance of living a healthy lifestyle.”
– Shaney jo Darden, KAB Executive Director
