SUPERBrand Launches New Web Site

| posted on March 04, 2010

Cardiff by the Sea, CA, March 4, 2010 — Today SUPERbrand, the leader of the modern generation of surfboard shapes and graphic designs, proudly launches the all-new SUPERbranded.com (http://superbranded.com/). In addition to footage featuring the team, completing the new Web site is a preview of the Fall 2010 SUPERbrand Apparel Collection, the first-ever from the brand, which is due to hit a very select group of fine shops globally in June 2010.

The new SUPERbranded.com is split in two distinct sections, the first focused on SUPERbrand Surfboards and the team of world-class surfers that rides them. In addition to pages dedicated to the new models and the latest innovative graphics that will be hitting surf shops globally beginning in March, the blog section will serve a constant supply of news and footage featuring Dion Agius, Ry Craike, and Clay Marzo, who’s changing surfing right now but is oftentimes illusive and enigmatic. SUPERbranded.com will be the place for a look at his surfing footage and videos-visit often for these clips.

SUPERbrand Surfboards was and is the pioneer in bringing team-driven, skate-inspired graphics to the surfboard marketplace, with the shapes designed by the SUPERbrand Shapers Collective in conjunction with Agius, Craike and Marzo.

The other side of the site surrounds SUPERbrand Apparel, the newest arm of SUPERbrand. With apparel and accessories designed by SUPERbrand’s Creative Director Tony Larson, the Collection hits stores in June 2010. As an Art Director and Designer for brands like Girl and Chocolate Skateboards, Fourstar Clothing and DC Shoes, Larson’s work has helped define the countless angles found in boutiques, board shops and galleries worldwide.

Like on the surfboard side, the SUPERbrand Apparel blog will constantly flow daily happenings and general likes and dislikes on art, music, skateboarding, and everything else. Tune in for daily dribble.

About the goals of SUPERbrand Apparel, Larson said, “I feel like we’re stripping everything back to basics with this site and with this apparel company. Our main goal is to grow with our retailers and consumers, and show them that no one is going to support them like we will. In the coming months we will announce our skate team and co-branded collaborations we have in the works. It’s going to be a fun ride.”
