Single Fins for Halloween at the Cosmic Creek Surf Festival

The Cosmic Creek will go down on October 30 and 31

Way better than trick-or-treating.

If you still haven’t figured out what you’re gonna be for Halloween, here’s an idea: go retro and check out the 10th annual Cosmic Creek Surf Festival on October 30 and 31 at Salt Creek. For 10 years, we’ve been dusting off single-fins and working on our soul arches at the event where boards that aren’t faded to a shade of mustard are better left at home. The premise is pretty simple: retro boards are provided by the event; you supply the shredding.

With the contest once again frontlined by Donavon Frankenreiter, this is the event for the non-contest surfer. You won your heat? Epic. You lost? Epic. You can always blame it on the board. Plus, Donavon’s gonna be playing at the Cosmic Creek Creepy Halloween Bash as 7-Degrees in Laguna on October 30.

Will Randy Sleigh be there? Chris Carmichael? Brad McCaul? Rolf Aurness? T.J. Dahl?
