Simple Shoes and SURFER Magazine present Earth Week Code Leak

Every day this week we’re leaking a code good for a free pair of Simple Shoes and a free membership the Surfrider Foundation.

How it works: Keep a close eye on Simple’s facebook wall. Every day during Earth week (4/18-4/22) Simple will leak a code between 10am and 2pm PST that’s good for a free pair of Simple Shoes and a membership to the Surfrider Foundation. Then enter that code on our facebook page. The first 50 people that enter the code into the facebook app each day will win and can try each day to win.

If surfing is so beautiful why is contest surfing so ugly? That’s the question I ask virtually every time I’m watch an ASP event online. Have you ever watched an ASP event online for more than 30 minutes at a time? If you have and don’t work directly for or in the surf industry, I’m surprised you haven’t killed yourself yet. It’s basically state-sponsored torture. Where the hell do you think the term waterboarding came from? Don’t believe me? A quick Google search for “ASP waterboarding” returned 2,860,000 results. You can’t argue with evidence like that.
