Scott Hawaii wins the award for “Best Run Family Business” at Pacific Edge Magazine’s Business Achievement Awards Ceremony
HONOLULU – Scott Hawaii is truly honored to have won the award for “Best Run Family Business”. Over the years Scott Hawaii has continued to work hard at incorporating a successful business model with family values, the result – A successful company that continues to offer its customers the very best quality product and superior service. This year Scott Hawaii celebrates their 79th birthday.
Scott Hawaii had its start in 1932 specializing in plantation boots. During World War II, materials were in short supply. To meet these new conditions, Scott Hawaii changed direction and began focusing on casual footwear, and the “slipper” was born.
Scott Hawaii foundation is based on attention to detail, the importance of excellent customer relations, and sharing the Aloha spirit. All three generations of Scotts share the same sense of pride in their accomplishments and although over the years Scott Hawaii has evolved with the changing times the foundation has remained the same.
Working with family can be both great and trying at the same time. This maybe one of the most difficult jobs but all Scott men love and strive to do what is best for family and business.
