Rusty North America (www.rusty.com) is pleased to announce Steve Reiley as the new marketing manager for the brand, effective today. After excelling in various roles within Rusty’s marketing department over the past two years, Reiley will now assume a larger role in the daily marketing efforts for the company. He will report directly to Rusty North America President, Charlie Setzler, and Director of Sales, Casey Fleming; and continue to work from the Rusty offices within La Jolla Group’s headquarters in Irvine, Calif.
In his new position, Reiley will be instrumental in strategic planning for the brand and promoting key 2010 products, including the Rusty Wired Series, the Wired Series collaboration with Green Day, and the Ecostretch boardshorts. Additionally, Reiley will contribute to other creative facets of Rusty North America and act as a marketing liaison between international teams.

Born and bred in Orange County, Calif., Reiley is an accomplished surfer, skater, snowboarder and wakeboarder, and epitomizes the Rusty lifestyle. While attending San Diego State University, he enjoyed a short stint as a professional wakeboarder before transitioning into a career as a graphic designer in the print industry. In 2008, Reiley joined Rusty and immediately became an integral voice in helping the brand maintain a strong position in the midst of a turbulent economy.
