Professional Surfers and Snowboarders Launch Star Surf Camps.

| posted on March 12, 2010

One of the world’s top professional body boarders has launched a new surf camp in the south west of France. Pablo Prieto Seranno will be head coach at the Star Surf Camp in France, supported by professional snowboarder Tina Ramholt who will be working as a yoga instructor along with an array of international surfers and lifeguards from across Australia, Europe and America.

Star Surf Camps currently operate two very different surf camps, one in France suitable for beginner and intermediate surfers looking to learn to surf or improve on existing skills. The other camp is in the worlds surfing playground of Bali. Participants join Star Surf Camps for a month long surfing and diving exploration of Bali and her sister islands. Included in the package are numerous activities such as bungee jumping, white water rafting, swimming with dolphins and elephant safaris.

“I have grown up surfing and body boarding everyday and am fortunate enough to be able to compete at the highest international level. The world tour has allowed me to meet so many new people, experience great cultures and learn new things and I am excited to be able to pass on this knowledge and experience to our guests. All our trips balance adrenaline with education and we aim to deliver with excellence the art and lifestyle of surfing in the worlds best locations”. – Pablo Preito Seranno

It is clear Star Surf Camps take a responsible approach to surf coaching and education, all their surf lessons are supported with relevant theory lessons to raise awareness about the ocean and beach environment. In Indonesia the lucky participants undergo cookery lessons and train for and obtain their internationally recognized PADI diving certifications.

Star Surf Camps monthly trips in Bali start on the 1st of each month running from May-August. The France surf camp caters for 48 people per week starting from the 4th June until 17TH September. Book online at

I enjoy your stories really much because they are spelled in an understandable coherent. So I can read them although I come from Germany and get any problems to interpret English stories.

I went to Star surf Camps in Fuerteventura in Sept 2013 as a total beginner with 3 friends. Fede Cordoma our instructor was excellent, and so encouraging with bags of personality, passion and energy. It was one of the best trips I have ever had, and I fell in love with surfing, which was a lifelong dream of mine.
So this year I booked a trip for 2 weeks with Mint Surf Morocco. I returned 3 days ago and have never been happier to be home.
This was the worst experience of my life!!
Cockroach infested accommodation, absent safety and first aidnstructors who didn’t offer any encouragement. The last straw was the third cockroach in my room. (I’d seen about 20 in the place. And all the other guests saw them too.)
My love for surfing hasn’t gone, and I improved on my own.
Surf camps can differ so much, and I feel I’ve truly experienced the very best, and very worst!!
