Los Angeles, Calif., – September 8, 2009 – Lightning Bolt, the iconic surf-inspired apparel brand that was recently re-launched in the United States, is proud to present its spring and summer 2010 collections featuring new styles and expanded product categories including: corduroys, wovens, fleece and women’s swimwear.

“When we started designing for SS10, we looked to Venice Beach and Hawaii in the 70s and the original soul surfers from that era for inspiration,” says Kara Smith, head designer of Lightning Bolt, USA. “This naturally fashionable crowd paired colors and prints in a messed-up and mismatched way that simply worked and they exuded an uncomplicatedly rad aura. After a lot of research and trial-and-error, we look forward to showing a collection that mirrors the same unique and distinct, yet effortlessly stylish vibe.”
