Joel Parkinson Wins Final Stop of Nixon WTA
ENCINITAS, CA – Joel Parkinson walked away the winner of the final stop of the 2009 Nixon Winner-Takes-All (WTA) during the Vans Triple Crown. Parkinson secured his WTA victory as the overall Triple Crown champion at the Billabong Pipeline Masters on Oahu’s North Shore. 2009 marks the second year in a row that Parkinson claimed the WTA Triple Crown title making him the proud new owner of a custom Nixon watch valued at over $10,000 USD.
As the 2008 Triple Crown Winner, Parkinson showed that he was the man to beat on the North Shore this year; but he was unstoppable and showed great knowledge of some of the most challenging waves during the Triple Crown events.

After an exciting year of WTA events that spanned the globe and varied in challenges from Highest Heat score to Heaviest Wave, the Billabong Pipeline Masters marked the end of the 2009 WTA.
This years 2009 Nixon WTA Overall Triple Crown Winner watch features a ceramic band, a three-hand Swiss made automatic movement adorned with four large baguette cut rubies and seven large baguette cut diamonds with the Hawaiian flag at the 12:00 position and a custom engraved caseback commemorating the event.
