Gordon & Smith Surfboards celebrates 50 years of Board Making
Gordon & Smith Surfboards, a world-wide brand, is hosting an Anniversary Gala celebrating 50 years of surfboard production October 3 rd , 2009 12pm -5pm at the Wave House in Mission Beach.
The Days Events include the Wave Crest Woody Club, and a museum quality exhibit displaying 5 decades of G&S History–From a Pacific Beach Garage to present.
The day will finish off with Local Music and a VIP reunion of G&S Surf and Skate Legends including founders Larry Gordon and Floyd Smith. Gordon & Smith is often credited for spawning the Southern California Surf Industry through the talented shapers, teamriders and individuals that contributed through this iconic brand.
The public is invited to attend.
