HOOD RIVER, Ore. (March 8, 2010) – DAKINE is pleased to announce the addition of WCT standouts CJ and Damien Hobgood to its international surf team roster.

One of the best barrel riders in the world, CJ is embarking on his 12th year of the ASP Dream Tour. Currently ranked 7th in the world for 2009, CJ began 2010 with a surprise entry and subsequent win of the World Qualifying Series 6-Star PRIME Hang Loose Pro in Brazil.

A fiercely competitive talent, Damien has begun the 2010 ASP Tour, his 10th season, in 9th place. He is proud to be part of the Surfrider Pro Team, sponsored by the Surfrider Foundation.

“CJ and I were stoked when DAKINE asked us to join the team,” says Damien. “We’ve been using the traction pads for the past year and really like them. We’re amped to be part of the DAKINE team and to be involved with a company that makes such great products.”
