Timmy Turner's Cold "Thoughts" to Premiere in Huntington Beach
September 4th, 2012
This week in Huntington Beach the long awaited follow-up to the award winning “Second Thoughts”, Timmy Turner’s “Cold Thoughts will premiere Thursday night September 6th in the Huntington Beach High School Academy for the Performing Arts auditorium.
“Cold Thoughts” is a story of survival , of having survived a near death experience from a staph infection in his head that infected his brain, putting Timmy in a coma that doctors were skeptical he’d survive from to surf another day.
Miraculously he recovered, his head re-built with an artificial skull and with the determination to return to the water and continue to search for waves like he’s done since being a teenager in Huntington Beach High School and making movies about those adventures.
This time though, the search for waves is in colder climates as the doctors advised against the tropics because of his weakened immune system, thus “Cold Thoughts”.
Turner says the cold-water sequel to “Second Thoughts” is different “It’s not about perfect, dreamy, warm, exotic waves highlighted in the first installment. This time, the adventure is about seeking surf in remote and frigid spots”.
“Cold Thoughts” features a stellar soundtrack that includes The Dirty Heads, Donavon Frankenreiter, The Originalites, HB Surround Sound and The Rival Sons.
