Body Glove’s 8-Bit Video a Finalist at Digiday Video Awards

Redondo Beach, CA (November 29, 2011) – Body Glove is being honored at the 2011 Digiday Video Awards on December 12, 2011 as a finalist in the Best Branded Entertainment Video category.

Digiday celebrates outstanding achievement in video media, marketing and advertising. 8-Bit, the brainchild of Body Glove professional surfer Cheyne Magnusson, also won “Reader’s Choice” and “Best Video” in the TransworldSURF Imaginarium contest for which it was first created.

“It is really such an honor to have 8-Bit recognized by the Digiday Video Awards group,” said Scott Daley, VP of Marketing for Body Glove International, “with more and more of today’s marketing initiatives pointing toward video content its exciting that our videos have made such an impact.”

Body Glove Entertainment shot 8-Bit over a 10-day period in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The film crew and team riders drove the 2,000-mile expedition to Cabo from Redondo Beach, CA with props and fireworks in tow. But the trek was well worth it when 8-Bit hit the editing block. In the end what the team created was a video that really caught the essence of Body Glove, a passion for surfing, creativity and good times.
