Arnette Adds Ford Archbold to Surf Team

FOOTHILL RANCH, CA – August 10, 2009 – Arnette is proud to announce that Ford Archbold is the newest member of its surf squad.

“Ford is an amazing addition to the team,” says Arnette Brand Manager, Joe Freitag. “He represents the next generation of surfers who are taking the sport to a whole new level. His positive attitude and unique, progressive style make him a perfect fit for Arnette, and we are truly excited to welcome him to the family.”

Born and raised in Newport Beach, CA, Ford grew up surfing with his legendary dad, Matt Archbold, and it shows. Now 18, Ford has been killing it for years. Known to rock an ear-to-ear smile all the time, in the coming year he will hit the road for photo shoots and to compete in ASP North America Pro Junior contests. Ford is extremely motivated and hopes to earn a spot on the WCT sometime within the next six years. Definitely keep an eye on this kid, because he’s the real deal!

“I’m psyched to represent Arnette because they have a long history of having amazing surfers on the team,” Ford says. “I’m stoked to slap a sticker on my board and represent them in and out of the water.”
