Aussies Take top honors at the first event of the 2012 World Tour Season

In a tense final heat, Taj Burrow and Adriano de Souza swapped the lead with each ride until the dying minutes when Taj secured his victory. The men’s final came after the finish of the Roxy Pro, which saw 4-time World Champion Stephanie Gilmore take another event win over an in-form Laura Enever. I agree with u Jack. That 9.43 was definitely overscored ! Lets see if the ASP will send a note, like they did about Adriano x Owen in Brazil…

The final’s result is pretty questionable. Taj’s 9,43 score wasn’t unanimous among the judges. One of them gave 8,8 for that wave, and that’s what I would give too.
