Costa Mesa, CA (July 6, 2012): The Search for the top 16 and under surfers around the nation continues as the Rip Curl GromSearch presented by H2O Overdrive heads to the Kewalo Basin on the island of Oahu this Sunday, July 8th for the second stop of the series.

Our partners at Surfline have forecasted an easing five-foot southwest swell with good conditions, ensuring some rippable, head-high surf for the groms. With cash prizes on the line for all divisions, killer gear from the sponsors, including HIC, the Official Retail Partner of the Rip Curl GromSearch Hawaii, competitors will also be battling for slots in the Rip Curl GromSearch National Final to be held at Upper Trestles this November 17. All finalists from all divisions get the coveted invite.
