“As we were changing on the street after a stormy session in Byron Bay, an ancient Mercedes Benz swerved around the corner, nearly clipping off our toes,” says Morgan Maassen. “Swollen with surfboards and 2 people too heavy, we could only imagine who lurked inside the steamed up car. All of a sudden, out popped the RVCA crew, consisting of Alex Knost, Alex Kopps, Ellis Ericson and several others.
